Workshop by Bobbi Junior

Bobbi hales from an active and vibrant writing group in Edmonton - Writers Cafe. She has atttended many workshops and writers weeks, making her a great resource on this topic.

Her workshop will be essential for anyone who wants to improve their group, or start a new one.
It will cover:

Types of writing groups:

a. Encourage new writing
b. Sharing and encouragement
c. Critique and editing

Critique and editing take a different set of skills. We’ll be focusing on the first two and how anyone might host this kind of writing group.

BIO: Teaching and leading experience:

Her teaching experience allows her to pull out what works well, and use this to create a comprehensive workshop presentation, with focus on activity, involvement, and sharing.

Bobbi has a wide variety of experiences and some of her recent speaking has been:

Speaking about Caregiving - Alberta Caregiver’s Association (10 - 200 audience)
Teaching adult Sunday School and leading Adult Bible Study

2000’s
Taught numerous home care providers how to provide care to a quadriplegic

Be on guard in this workshop as apparently she knows archery and fencing!
